This hat pattern is for my best friend in Virginia who has turned into quite the knitter recently. She visited me here in Newport, Rhode Island, just as the cold had started to arrive in October. Luckily, we are exactly the same size everything and she knew she didn’t need to waste valuable packing space with sweaters, scarves and hats. I already had it all! She spent the week wearing this hat and has requested I share the pattern with her. It is by far my most complimented hat and it is such a quick knit, so I thought, why not share it with everyone else too!?
