Nobody loves my knitted hats more than my two year old daughter. As soon as I finish a project, her first question is “Is that for me???” Her next statement is “you knit too many hats mama!” Ugh. I wish she would just stop growing right now. I don’t want these years to end!
This hat has become my go-to chunky pattern. I make it with pom poms for girls, without for boys. It looks best in natural colors (the one I wear daily in the cold is in gray). This yarn holds up great to regular wear and tear and is perfectly washable. A great chunky acrylic choice.
